My car has some sort of problem with the coolant system.  I’ve been losing the green stuff for quite some time now, and it’s getting expensive to keep filling it up every couple weeks.  Well, yesterday it overheated within 10 miles of my office.  So I puttered to work.  Now, normally that shouldn’t be done.  But my car has some sort of automatic safety feature that keeps the engine cool.  It’s got 8 big gas-thieving cylinders that make it quite fast.  But when it’s overheating, something tells the engine to back down to using only 4 cylinders at a time.  So without smoke or steam or loud noises, I got to the office safely and without explosion.  Now I just have this car that is in dire need of repair.  Dire.  Well, and my blood pressure is higher than chartable.
