At Applebee’s last night, a guy asked me (sort of) if Heaven had time. I answered with some weird comment about movie rental fees being sin, but his question got me thinking. Around Easter last year, I posted about the perfect indicative… the greek infini-tense of verbs (one action having eternal outcome), but I think Good Friday is a perfect time to bring it up again.
Jesus died on the cross. And from that time on, eternity will never be the same. Three days after dying, He was resurrected and Punk’d death. And because of that three day event, now and forever more, we live life differently. How cool.
On a side note, I make a motion to change the name of Good Friday to ‘the day that sucks, yet gives eternity to all’. Who’s with me?
